Anklebiters were small, grayish-white rodent-like monsters native to planet Hoven that dwelled in the ice and snow, and came out to attack Ratchet when he approached them. They appear to be top predator on Hoven; and they always attack in packs. Like the Puffer Fish of planet Pokitaru, the anklebiters required two regular wrench strikes to kill, and were vulnerable to the Suck Cannon. In one area of planet Hoven, a skill point was available if all of them were defeated, as well as a nearby gold bolt.
