A Galactic Ranger., UYA
Assassination was one of the Galactic Ranger missions of Operation: DEATH VALLEY on Aridia. It involved assassinating six Four-Eyed Tyhrranoids that were leading the Tyhrranoid attack.[1]
Mission
The Galactic Rangers closed tunnel access to their base and left Ratchet outside with a Turbo Slider to quickly reach his targets. They claimed to have a mandatory aerobics class and were unable to assist him in eliminating the six Four-Eyed Tyhrranoid commanders, originally identified by intel the Galactic Rangers had collected.[1][2]
Mission objective

The primary mission objective was given to Ratchet and Clank as: "We now know that the Tyhrranoids forces on Outpost X12 are led by several Four-Eyed alien commanders. Find and eliminate all of the Four-Eyed Tyhrranoids to disrupt the enemy's command and control."[1]

The six Four-Eyed Tyhrranoid commanders were spread out throughout Red Rock Valley and were defended by other Tyhrranoid forces. One commander was located next to the Galactic Ranger's base tunnel opening on top of a rock. Access to the rock was available through use of a grav-ramp was located at the back of the rock but was defended by several Tyhrranoid's behind defensive barricades blocking both paths to the ramp. Ratchet and Clank defeated the Thyrranoids before using the ramp and eliminating the commander.[1]
Another commander was just over the bridge from the original position of the Turbo Slider and blocked entrance to the Galactic Ranger's base on another large rock. The rock had bridge access defended by barricaded Tyhrranoids who also defended the ground around the base where two Nanotech crates were located. Ratchet and Clank either picked of their enemies from a distance or moved through them from close-range, eventually killing this commander.[1]

One commander was also located flying around the large bridge to the side of the valley. A Three-Eyed Robonoid with a barricade defended each section and six Tyhrranoid Saucers were hidden underneath the bridge ready to ambush Ratchet and Clank.[1] Across the bridge on a large, raised platform another Four-Eyed Tyhrranoid commander appeared to be lightly defended. After using the grav-ramp to access the platform several Tyhrranoid Saucers appeared to defend the commander from the assassination; however, in both cases Ratchet and Clank survived the ambushes and eliminated the commanders.[1]
Near to the tunnels leading towards the Tyhrranoid base another commander set up a defensive perimeter around a raised structure. The commander stayed behind the structure on ground level surrounded by Tyhrranoid forces on the structure and barricaded on the ground around him.[1] The structure had a grav-ramp on the higher platform and a bridge section that allowed access on the ground level but was protected by further barricades. Ratchet and Clank either assaulted the commander's position from the ground level or took to the structure for a higher vantage point in killing this commander.[1]
A commander was hovering over the platform which the Galactic Rangers had previously been trapped on, with four Tyhrranoid Saucers to defend him and two Ultra Mecha-Tyhrranoids guarding the nearby bridge. With hypershot access to the platform, Ratchet and Clank either picked off the forces from a distance or jumped across and defeated the Tyhrranoid commander and his defenders from close range.[1]
Aftermath
Mission complete. All Rangers regroup and get ready to retake the valley.

After defeating all six commanders the Galactic Rangers regrouped their forces in preparation to reclaim the valley.[1]
