Basilisk Leviathan

Basilisk Leviathans were flying territorial behemoths that put up a tough fight. They had a spitting attack that they could launch from a moderate distance, as well as an elecrtical, full body charge and a shock bubble drop that dispensed several bouncng balls of crackling energy that could zap Ratchet on contact. Ratchet had to keep these foes in sight at all times, avoiding their attacks at all costs, and sending off a stream of continuous fire until there was nothing left but a few shards of Raritanium and a valuable Leviathan Soul.

If you turned on the Tools of Production video, one of the Insomniac programs revealed that "to make them move better we took out their spines".

- The way the Basilisk Leviathans were to eat was to their open big mouth and charge at its prey. They would fall in its mouth and become food. On Cobalia the Leviathans charged at Ratchet to see if he was food, but what they got in return was their souls.
