Template:Capitalization Template:Nickname Template:Characterbox The Beacon Operator was one of the Hoolefoids whom Ratchet helped out on Hoolefar Island on Planet Merdegraw. He looked quite different from most of the other Hoolefoids, as he had a much stumpier, rounder head with a less pointy lower jaw.
He spoke in a New Jersey accent, and boasts about being a labor union member, specifically Local Beacon Union 3-19, and refused to do anything against union regulation.
Ratchet ended up helping him fix the bolt cranks by purchasing the VersaBolt that the Smuggler stole from the crank. In the end he was one of the few present when Ratchet retrieved the coordinates to Clank's whereabouts, in the Breegus Nebula.
