Bolt cranks, which could be activated with Ratchet's OmniWrench, were most often used to open doors or to activate bridges. Bolt cranks appeared in every Ratchet & Clank game.
DreadZone used these a lot to challenge their heroes into getting towards the next part of a challenge. However, they could also be found abundantly throughout the Solana and Bogon galaxies as well. Ratchet's bots could also activate these.
