Channel 2 news was the previous news channel to employ Darla Gratch, who moved to work for Channel 64 News. It was stationed in the Solana Galaxy, and often sent Darla to report on the chaos roaming across the galaxy, even if it meant sending her into the line of fire. They were the ones who reported on Drek's war crimes when he attempted to destroy the galaxy in order to create a new planet for his people, the Blarg. It was not known why Darla no longer worked for that station. She often ended up in a difficult situation at the end of the broadcast, such as being swallowed by a Amoeboid.
