The Cheats Menu was a menu found in the pause menu. In the first game, they could be unlocked by doing secret codes. From Going Commando upwards, they were unlocked by completing a certain amount of skill points. However, some cheats could still be activated using codes.

Ratchet & ClankEdit
After beating Drek, go to the Goodies menu and perform these moves to unlock these cheats:
- Ratchet has a big head: Flip Back (x3), Full Second Crouch, Stretch Jump, Full Second Glide.
- Clank has a large noggin: Flip Back, Hyper-Strike, Comet-Strike, Double Jump, Hyper-Strike, Flip Left, Flip Right, Full Second Crouch.
- Actors have oversized craniums: Flip Left, Flip Right, Flip Back, Flip Back, Comet-Strike, Double Jump, Comet-Strike, Hyper-Strike.
- Enemies have massive domes: Stretch Jump, Flip Back (x3), Stretch Jump, Flip Back (x3), Stretch Jump, Flip Back (x3), Full Second Crouch.
- Levels are mirrored: Flip Left (x4), 3-Hit Wrench Combo, Hyper Strike, Flip Right (x4), Double Jump, Full Second Crouch.
- Health gives invincibility at max: Comet-Strike (x4), Flip Back, Full Second Crouch, Flip Back, Full Second Crouch, Comet-Strike (x4).
- Trippy contrails: Wall Jump (x10), Double Jump, Hyper-Strike.
Ratchet & Clank: Going CommandoEdit
- Ratchet has a big head: Gave Ratchet a Colossal head.
- Ratchet in a tux: Gave Ratchet a "secret agent" tuxedo.
- Clank has a large noggin: Gave Clank a big head.
- Levels are mirrored: The game was flipped horizontally; things usually to the left would now to the right, and vice versa.
- Actors have oversized craniums: Gave NPCs large heads.
- Ratchet shows his funny side: Gave Ratchet a Clown suit skin .
- Enemies have massive domes: Gave all enemies big heads.
- Beach Boy: Gave Ratchet a beach outfit.
- Snow Dude: Gave Ratchet a Snowman Skin.
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your ArsenalEdit
Cheat codesEdit
- Pirate vs. Ninja minigame: Go to the VG-9000, press square, then enter _MEGHAN_ and press start.
- Bomberman minigame: Go to the VG-9000, press square, then enter YING_TZU and press start. NOTE: This does not work on the PAL versions.
- Qwark in a tutu: Enter a Vid-comic and enter this code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Circle, Square, Square.
- Dark Qwark: Enter the Tutu Qwark code twice in one Qwark Vid-Comic.
- Dual laser saber: Pause the game and enter this: Circle, Square, Circle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Left.
Skill point cheatsEdit
- Big headed heroes: Gave both Ratchet and Clank big heads.
- Time freeze: Slow motion camera tracking during weapon select.
- Secret Agent Clank: Put Clank into his Secret Agent Clank costume.
- Big head enemies: Gave all enemies big heads.
- Ships to ducks: All ships flying in the sky would be turned into ducks.
- Mirror universe: Flipped the screen horizontally.
Ratchet: DeadlockedEdit
- Ninja Ratchet: Obtained by unlocking all of the Exterminator Cards. This gave Ratchet a Ninja skin and flaming sword replacement for his wrench.
Japanese skinsEdit
NOTE: These codes only work in Japanese versions. Go to Multiplayer, and select "Edit profiles", hold L2, then enter these codes to unlock these cheats:
- Pipo-Saru Ratchet: Up, Right, Down, Right, Left, Right.
- Santa Ratchet: Down, Left, Up, Left, Right, Left, Up
- Genome Ratchet: Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Down

Secret Agent ClankEdit

- Chalice Of Power: Go to the Treehouse, and enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right as a code in the area where you find the Chalice. Note: The code only works once per visit to a location.
- Zoni skin: Pause the game and enter: Left, Left, Right, Up, Down, Down,

- In the Treehouse, go to a desk near the "Robot Finds Kitten" message. On this desk is a picture of someone. Go to this picture, and press . You will be shown a platform with a fountain, fireplace, angels, kittens, and roses. There is also a message about TJS's mother. This platform is a memorial for a HIG crew member's mother.
- Secret Disguise: Left, Left, Right, Down, Up, Up, .
