Claw Tooth Swarmers were very similar to the Tri-Spike Swarmers, only they had blue, smooth skin and had no revealing spikes or eyes.^[1] The Claw Tooth Swarmers were also just as tall and fragile as Tri-Spike Swarmers; as one hit with a wrench would instantly kill them. They never traveled alone and usually attacked in large groups.

Ratchet first encountered them in the Manic Speed Demon challenge at the DreadZone Station.^[1]
