An elder was a Lombax who was a high-ranking councilman of the Center for Advanced Lombax Research.^[1] General Alister Azimuth was a renowned Lombax elder and the last one in the Polaris Galaxy, since he and Ratchet were the only known individuals of their kind to be left in Polaris by the time of Doctor Nefarious' second campaign. Azimuth was forced to live in exile in Torren IV, Molonoth Fields, forbidden from joining the Lombaxes in their new home since he had been inadvertently responsible for Percival Tachyon being able to destroy their civilization. Despite this, his fame remained across the galaxy and he was commonly referred to as "the elder."
