The way the Ratchet & Clank wiki capitalizes words has changed; therefore, this article should be checked, and, if necessary, capitalization should be fixed.
Based from Gadgetron's early prototypes of Electric Reactive Armor, Electroshock armor utilized a high-power capacitor to energize two plates composing the armor's surface. You still destroy the feedback loop. Attacks against the armor completed the circuit between the plates, running a high current through the intruding projectile that could vaporize it or instantly turn it into plasma. A full set of Electroshock had such a high charge that the electricity literally arced across the surface and along Ratchet's OmniWrench. Slamming the wrench into the ground in a comet-strike discharged the capacitors, destroying the feedback loop and releasing an electric particle wave that damaged enemies in a large radius. This armor could also be mixed with the Crystallix Armor.
