RYNO IV holo-plan

The full holo-plan for the RYNO IV.

Holo-plans are collectibles appearing in Tools of Destruction, A Crack in Time, and Into the Nexus. They are hidden blueprints for each game's respective RYNO, and when all were collected the weapon would become available for assembly by a certain character. Typically the last piece of the holo-plan can not be obtained until the final level of the game, prior to the final boss.

Appearances[]

Tools of Destruction[]

Thirteen pieces of the RYNO IV holo-plan are found in Tools of Destruction, each one at a different location. After all are gathered, the Smuggler can build it.

The RYNO IV was discontinued by Gadgetron Corporation for being too dangerous, banned in eight galaxies. Its plans mention its use of an omni-directional transmogrification conductor used to manipulate dark matter, and a chromodynamic amplifier used to atomize anything it touched. When Ratchet asked the Smuggler about it, he was intrigued enough to offer to build it for no monetary compensation, simply asking to keep the plans.[1]

A Crack in Time[]

Again after Ratchet asked the Smuggler about a holo-plan piece he found, he offered to build the weapon for him in exchange for keeping the plans.[2]

Ten pieces of the RYNO V holo-plan were found in A Crack in Time, most at different played on foot locations. Two were rewards at the Agorian Battleplex.

Into the Nexus[]

Upon collecting the first holo-plan piece, the Plumber contacted Ratchet and promised to assemble the weapon for him if he found them all. Before the weapon could be assembled, the Plumber needed to be freed from the vault on planet Thram.[3]

Nine pieces of the RYNO VII holo-plan were found in Into the Nexus, with multiple at different locations.
