I will hopefully propose an image policy here soon, and put it to vote, but I would like some community input. One thing that I strongly feel should be put in it is that all new images without both a source and a license are deleted within 24 hours of a notice being placed on the uploaders talk page, this will keep our copyrights in line. Anyway, please post any comments below. Hunterj

- That probably wouldn't be a bad idea, although it wouldn't necessarily have to be within 24 hours, but still not a bad idea. LethalReflex 18:07, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

- I think LethalReflex means it could be any set amount of time, I was just suggesting 24 hours. Hunterj

Proposition
Edit
Here's a list of the basic rules I want to include in the policy:
- All images must be used. Any newly uploaded images not used within 24 hours will be deleted.
- All images should be as relevant as possible.
- Images that feature pornographic, extremely violent, erotic or generally unsuitable content may not be uploaded and users may be banned for uploading them.
- Any newly uploaded images must have a source and license (in the preferred format where possible) provided within 24 hours of a warning being given to the uploader, or they will be deleted.

Edit
- I'll add some info to Help:Upload if this policy is passed. Remember I can restore deleted images if needed and that any existing images will not have the time restrictions - us admins can't clear everything up that fast! Any additional ideas are welcomed but please add them to this/the comments section. Hunterj
