Ratchet & Clank Future is a trilogy of games in the Ratchet & Clank series. It started off with Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, followed by Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty, and ended with Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time^[1][2]. The name "Future", may have been included, because of the major improvement of the visuals and gameplay in the games for the PS3. After A Crack in Time, the main series is continued with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.

Future storyEdit

The Future saga takes a more dramatic turn to the Ratchet & Clank series, including giving the series a new story, starting off with Ratchet searching for his race, the Lombaxes, in Tools of Destruction and Clank having connection with the Zoni. Captain Qwark also came back in the series and in A Crack in Time, Dr. Nefarious and Lawrence returned as the main antagonists, this time planing on using the Great Clock to re-write history.

TriviaEdit

• The European versions of the games don't carry the "future" subtitle and are simply prefixed with "Ratchet & Clank" e.g. Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction.
• The Ratchet & Clank Future saga was originally due to be titled "Ratchet & Clank Next Generation" but was shortened.
