The Momentum Glider was a gliding device found on planet Tabora, which would help Ratchet glide through large areas. At special red launch pads, Ratchet could deploy the device and glide to reach areas only accessible by flight. Eventually, the Glider was replaced by the Levitator, and in Ratchet and Clank Future series, it was succeeded by the Robo-Wings, which worked similarly, but provided free movement through the air.

• It is very similar to the Robo-Wings in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
• The item description in the game says its proper name: Ride the winds in style with Megacorp's newest Momentum Glider. The official Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando strategy guide also states that the item is called the Momentum Glider.
