The way the Ratchet & Clank wiki capitalizes words has changed; therefore, this article should be checked, and, if necesary, capitalization should be fixed. For more information, see the forum.
The Jackpot Crate was a crate which, when hit, a Jackpot effect was activated. For a limited time, it doubled the amount of experience gained for Nanotech and the player's equipped weapon when defeating enemies. It also doubled the amount of bolts gained from crates and enemies. In Challenge Mode, it doubled the current multiplier the player had earned, for a maximum of 40x.
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal
In this game, it was a green colored crate, similar in shape to the Inferno crate. It sported an "x" and a picture of a bolt on it. The effect of the Jackpot Crate would last for 30 seconds. There was usually only one in almost all planets, and they did not respawn when exiting and entering the planet again. During development, it was originally named the "Gadgetron Nanotech Multiplier."
In this game, it did not multiply bolts, but gave a high amount of them (1,000-10,000 depending on planet). They were usually hidden but many could be found in a single planet. It looked like a shining golden orb with iron bindings holding it. They did not respawn when exiting and entering the planet again.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
In this game, it was a blue crate with a "?" on it. It also multiplied the amount of raritanium collected.
All 4 One
In All 4 One, the jackpot crate was replaced by the Bolt Grabber crate, which also gave the player the ability to break crates by merely touching them.
