Lance & Janice was a radio/holo-vision program broadcast in at least the Solana and Polaris galaxies, apparently known for its "edgy writing" and "steamy drama".

The super-villain Dr. Nefarious was known to play a radio broadcast version of this program in his head whenever he malfunctioned. In one occurrence Lance talked about his childhood when he was attacked by a tribe of "gypsy ninjas" and Janice reveals she was in that tribe. Ironically, he was also a fan of the show. Calling in to Kip Darling's and Pepper Fairbanks' news show to complain about the finale of the tenth season, shouting about "Squishie oppression" and calling for the annihilation of the show's scriptwriters. Also, Flint Vorselon (while commanding Neferious's minions) said that an episode of Lance & Janice was taped over by a trooper and whoever did it must immediately hurl themselves out the airlock. This Indicated that he was a fan of the Holo-Vision series

If the Qwark Vid-Comics are to be believed, Captain Qwark was also a fan of this show. While Qwark was watching it, Lance and Janice apparently had a baby, and Janice said the baby's actual father was Englebert, Lance's evil twin. Before Qwark stops watching Lance shouts, "But, Janice. I am Englebert!"

TriviaEdit

  • The name of the show was revealed when Zephyr, commenting on an old-fashioned holo-projector, said "We used to watch old episodes of Lance and Janice on those "darn things". This indicates that the show itself may have been running for a long time, confirming its status as a popular show in that it was still running.
