Meridian City on planet Igliak became the Capital of Polaris after the battle of Fastoon and was the highly-populated city of the galaxy - much like Metropolis was of Solana and Megapolis of Bogon. Meridian City was full of towering skyscrapers (like it's counterparts), with the colour theme for the city being white and green, which most buildings and interiors had. A little amount of vehicles were seen in open air, partly of the fact that a quarter of the city was decimated, the rest were under attack, and mostly because vehicles were seen in glass covered transport tubes flowing around the city. Tachyon had sought after a way to conquer the city for several years, but the planet's defenses were too strong for Tachyons forces to penetrate. This all changed when Tachyon finally freed the Cragmites. Tachyon attacked the city with his army of Cragmites, and held Qwark prisoner, who then sent distress calls to Ratchet and Clank. They rescued him and the rest of the city. It was here that Slim Cognito got arrested for committing a crime at a rock concert.

The GrummelNet HQ was located in Meridian City.^[1]
