The Novalis Chairman was the Planetary Chairman for the planet Novalis. He was an old man, easily frightened and only made one appearance in the first Ratchet and Clank game. He was holding a walking stick, had blue skin, and spikes on his head. He was first seen meeting with Chairman Drek, discussing Dreks plans for Novalis. He said that if Drek doesn't stop his plans Captain Qwark will. This makes Drek laugh (as Qwark was working for him) and his Robot Lieutenant took him away to be tortured. He is then taken to Tobruk Crater in a prison ship and saved by Ratchet & Clank, who he was initially scared of. He gave them an Infobot for Metropolis on Planet Kerwan and the pair explain who they are, so the Chairman gave them a Courier Ship. He is seen in Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal at the end at the Secret Agent Clank premiere (So he survived the destruction of Novalis). He appeared to be the same species as the Plumber and possibly the salesman on planet Oltanis.
