Added by JxtremeA planet is a celestial body that was in orbit around a star, was neither a star nor a moon of a planet, and has cleared out the area around its orbit as it formed by causing all other smaller bodies in its orbit to accrete with it. As a consequence, it will not share its orbital region with any other bodies of significant size, except for moons or those collected later under its gravitational influence.
Planets also have varied seasons with ranging temperatures and weather. Planets are extremely varied in terms of environmental conditions and landscape, ranging from completely oceanic (such as Aquatos and Damosel) to thick arboreal jungles (such as Jasindu and Ryllus). Some planets, such as Hoven and Siberius, are completely frozen. Other planets, like Veldin, Tabora, and Fastoon, are completely barren, desolate, and desert-like covered in little more than rock and sand; while others (such as Kerwan and Igliak) have their entire planetary surface covered by gigantic cities. Many planets, like Novalis, Kalebo III, Todano, and Pokitaru, contain a mix of landscapes, with various continents, oceans, and mountains - and most notably represented Earth.
Most life-bearing planets have primarily breathable atmosphere, although some, such as Orxon, do not. Some planets are made up of primarily gaseous layers, such as Smolg.
The colors of Planets seen from orbit are usually represented by the climate of the planet - however they can also be represented by the theme of cities or locations on the Planet. A good example is Mukow, which seems to be a completely aquatic planet, but buildings were built on the water so all gameplay is on land. Planets like Kortog do not have a surface and like most planets, all buildings are floating, therefore causing a death of Falling rather than Drowning.
