This page is where users can nominate comprehensive articles. Comprehensivearticles are articles that meet high standard requirements, but are to limited in terms of content to be featured articles or good articles.
...not be tagged with any sort of improvement tags (i.e. more sources, expand, etc.)
...have a reasonable amount of red links; use common sense
A comprehensive cannot...
...be over 250 words long. This should not include templates, image captions or sources and references but may include sub-headings, lists, quotes and tables. We are flexible with the word count and an administrator will check the criteria, so don't worry about counting every word before nominating the article! Articles that are too long might be applicable for good article status or featured article status instead.
Simply add #~~~~ under the relevant section. Users can vote as many times as they want (but only once for each article) and may move their votes on a specific article. For example, a user can vote for article one to be a comprehensive article, and article two, and can oppose to article three's nomination. However a user cannot vote both for and against the same article at the same time.
There are two sides to each nominated article; support and oppose. Once an article reaches +2 supporting votes the nomination is passed. An article cannot be passed without an administrator's vote or with an outstanding opposing vote. However the are further exceptions...
All opposing votes must have a reason, an article cannot become a comprehensive article until every problem is addressed. Cross out previous comments that have been addressed to show how an article has improved. Administrators may remove opposing comments if they are not related to the comprehensive article requirements.
If an administrator votes against the article with good reason, then the article cannot become a comprehensive article for now. Administrators will check that any nominations match the criteria, if it does not then they will vote against the article's status while stating the reason, allowing the chance for the article to improve. The template {{comprehensive}} will be added to the top of articles gaining the status.
An administrator's vote is worth +2 votes, meaning that assuming there is no opposition an administrator's vote is enough to pass a comprehensive article nomination.
A nomination must last for at least 24 hours in addition to all other criteria.
Information on when "Romulus Slag once mentioned to Clank that he was the runner-up in the previous year's Galactic Idol" should be added.--HunterjHunterj's Resort 14:23, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
Content removed.
Didn't notice this the first time around - it also needs sourcing with ref tags to show which game is the source for each part of the article. --HunterjHunterj's Resort 12:37, October 8, 2012 (UTC)
For a very short article, it is very comprehensive and fits all the criteria. It is also under 250 words, so I think it would be a good candidate. --Haydos271Discussion 12:50, July 22, 2012 (UTC)
