The way the Ratchet & Clank wiki capitalizes words has changed; therefore, this article should be checked, and, if necesary, capitalization should be fixed. For more information, see the forum.
- This article is about the R.Y.N.O. in Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank. You may be looking for the R.Y.N.O. in Ratchet & Clank or other R.Y.N.O. weapons in other Ratchet & Clank games.
The new R.Y.N.O. types—which only appeared in the PSP spin-offs—were devastatingly powerful auto-targeting missile launchers that were extremely rare and expensive. It fired six missiles simultaneously, which immediately sought and destroyed their targets. It also had a moderate rate of fire, despite its size and caliber.
In Size Matters, the R.Y.N.O. functioned slightly differently; it fired six separate rockets, as opposed to nine from the original model. The Size Matters R.Y.N.O. had a higher rate of fire than Gadgetron's first R.Y.N.O., seemingly cancelling out the difference. The R.Y.N.O. could only be bought in the game's challenge mode costing 9,999,000 bolts and was by far the most expensive item in the game.
In Secret Agent Clank, the R.Y.N.O. also functions like the one in Size Matters, albeit with an aesthetic difference.
- “ For those looking for massive damage on a truly large scale Gadgetron's R.Y.N.O. is the discerning customer's first and last stop. Utilizing multiple fast-launch swarmer missile warheads, one full salvo delivers the same area-denial firepower as an entire regiment of indirect-fire artillery batteries. ”
