Ratchet & Clank Future is the latest saga of games in the Ratchet & Clank series. It started off with Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and the latest installment is Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. The upcoming game is known as Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. The name "Future", may have been included, because of the major improvement of the visuals and gameplay in the games for the PS3 or it may have been due to the storyline being set in the future as Secret Agent Clank was released after Tools of Destruction but is set just after Size Matters in terms of storyline. The future saga is a PlayStation 3 exclusive series. The Future sub-series is going to end with Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, as it was said to conclude the story arc that began in Tools of Destruction. Brian Allgeier confirmed this, rendering Future as a trilogy.[1] Brian Allgeier, the creative director of Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, has said that it may be Ratchet and Clank's last game.
