The Ratchet & Clank wiki has its own IRC channel. The IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a chat room where users can discuss Ratchet & Clank, the Ratchet & Clank wiki and get help or advice. Users can connect at any time, however there's no guarantee anyone will be around! IRC meetings are sometimes held in the IRC. For more information about when they will be held and what happens during one of these meetings, please see Ratchet & Clank wiki:IRC meetings. The channel (#R&C) is hosted on the freenode network.
How to accessEdit
To access through your web browser go to http://webchat.freenode.net?channels=R%26C&uio=d4 and type your user name into the user name box and click connect.
If you have an IRC chat client, then you probably know how to access our channel. If not, simply connect to a freenode server and type /join #R&C. Alternatively try using this link: irc://irc.freenode.com/R&C
If you are having problems, ask an administrator for help.
Users with the @ symbol next to their name are administrators, excluding ChanServ. ChanServ is an IRC robot that connects our channel to freenode, if no one except ChanServ is in the channel, consider it empty as ChanServ does not 'talk'.
For more information talk to someone in the #R&C channel, or contact an administrator on their talk page.
Please be polite and do not offend other users. Administrators can kick (temporarily remove) and ban (block for a certain amount of time) disruptive or uncooperative users on the IRC. These rules are general guidelines and the channel is controlled at the present administrator's discretion.
- Do not offend other users by insulting or harassing them in any way.
- Do not display or discuss content that could be offensive to younger people (some of the games are rated 3+).
- Adhere to the profanity policy.
- Do not disrupt ongoing on-topic conversations with off-topic nonsense.
- No spam.
HunterG-88 is a bot owned by Hunterj and is the bot used in #R&C. Please contact Hunterj with any suggestions, complaints or praise you may have about his bot! Please also note that he may log all conversations made in the IRC when he is present for future reference.
Note: Most commands using the letter 'r', can be used by typing 'ratchet' instead of 'r' before the specific section, e.g. !rspecial <article> will be the same as !ratchetspecial <article>. The only exception to this is if you want a link to a normal mainspace article, you cannot use !r and must use !ratchet.
