IRC Meeting time has now been decided - Saturday 18th April at 10:00 (A.M.) UTC. Please do not comment in the suggestions section.
Please review the agenda and make your own timing estimates. It should be quicker than previous meetings as many users will have already attended a meeting before. You don't have to attend the whole meeting, and likewise you can arrive late if necessary. We would like as many people as possible to attend. It is strongly recommended that a time suitable for Hunterj is selected as he will most likely run the meeting, the meeting will only take place if at least one administrator can be present. Please give your times in UTC, and mention a date.
Saturday April 4 2009, I was thinking we should start somtime between 20:30 and 22:00 UTC.HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:03, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
This'll be a long meeting, I may take items off of the agenda and move them to the end, so if it goes on for too long we can either have a seperate mini-meeting or have one for admins only (for the remaining topics) and anyone else who happens to be around - this'll only be admin stuff and minor things though, which is why I'd move them to the end of the meeting. Like the automatic welcome topic... I might ask this at the IRC meeting, see what people want to do. HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:49, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
It's a good time, but I probably can't wake up at 20:30, because I usually sleep in.. No wait, my daylight saving ends that day. So I think I can join from 22:00 onwards. (This may be late for HiQu and Hunterj, but it's only 8 am here..) иιƒкч? 09:46, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Remember that our daylight saving started when yours ended so the time is still different now. The greatest way is to edit and preview (not save of course) some page and add 5 tildes there which shows the UTC time and you can calculate the hours there. HiQuTalk to me! 15:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Any day and time is good for me. HiQuTalk to me! 15:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm a bit iffy about weekends.. if I'm on campus, any time of the weekend is fine, but I don't know when's the next time I return home for the weekend.. and I never go online when I'm home.. otherwise.. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays are good after 5pm, Tuesdays are good before 4pm and after 6pm, and Thursdays are good all day. KuгtѕκγωαικєгTalk/Contrıbs 16:45, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm really sorry but I'm not around this weekend after all, and the weekend after is Easter. We can either do something mid week or wait until the weekend after Easter, of course you could do it without me, but seeing as the majority of items on the agenda are from me and that I usually lead and organize the meeting I wouldn't recommend this at all. HunterjHunterj's Resort 17:11, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Ok. HiQu, to be precise, my daylight saving ends when it's Sunday 5th April at 3 am in my timezone, GMT +10. That should be 2pm UTC. иιƒкч? 06:29, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm not going to attend an IRC meeting without Hunterj, so I suggest doing it midweek as Hunterj can attend then. Seeing that the holidays have started, I can do any day, and any time from noon to around 11pm so that's good. So, if Hunterj and everyone else can do mid-week I can too, so I suggest: midweek Easter holidays. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 20:11, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok. I think I'll somewhat agree to Tigernose's comment. Yes, and my holidays start from Good Friday to 2 or 3 weeks later. NifkyHappy April Fool's 09:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm most likely around next wednesday, however I think it's best to wait until the first Saturday after Easter, as I can't guarantee anything. HunterjHunterj's Resort 16:22, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, whatever you say. иιƒкч? 12:07, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Anytime this weekend is fine, Sunday during the day would be most preferable, however that being Easter I don't think is convienient for anyone but me. —Unsigned comment at 03:17, 5 April 2009 byMutated (talk • contribs).
Some time preferably between 18:00 and 20:30 UTC. I could probably make it at just about any time if I needed to. LethalReflex 17:43, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Sub-sections - All the planets have a section about the enemies on there. I was thinking we could add a sub-section to that: Native Enemies and Invader Enemies. It technically means, the native enemies are the enemies who are native to the planet and the invaders are enemies who have immigrated or invaded the planet. If not that, maybe a little note next to the link "(Native)" or "(Inavder)". I'm not sure about the name for the invaders though, hope you guys find a more suitable name. Tigernose 18:32, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Disambiguations - You know about Disambiguations? I think we should have more. It will help navigation. My reason is: there are a lot of articles that are part of a "species" or "group" but we don't have an indivudual article for the "species" or "group". Stuff like "Holo". Everything in the Ratchet world is "Holo", and probably replaces "Tele". We should have an article on Holo to list the objects that are "Holo" and also information about the term "Holo". Along with other things that need a disambig. Tigernose 19:28, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
April Fools - April Fools are coming soon. If some users vandalize pages that day should it be allowed or be classified as vandalism? HiQuTalk to me! 14:28, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Welcome message signature - @latest or Username? Currently @latest by default here for details. This mainly affects admins. HunterjHunterj's Resort 12:27, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Trivia - Because the R&C series is full of Trivia, and the wiki is too, maybe we could have a page full of trivia. Other wikis have one: I'll give you a link. Trivia page on RS wiki. Disclaimer: I do not play that game! I hate Runescape. I only am mentioning this wiki because I needed to check up something. TЙГЭPHO3Ь--Tigercorp HQPRODUCTS 16:36, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Thai420 - maybe we should remove his bureaucratship. He made 16 edits last year in total, and is innactive. I really appreciate him starting this wiki, and I also appreciate his edits. If he ever became active again I don't think any of use would hesitate in giving him bureaucratship again, I just don't think in an inactive user should have bureaucratship just because he started the wiki. I have nothing against Thai420 and feel free to disagree with me completely! If we did remove it I'd try one more attempt to contact him before removal. HunterjHunterj's Resort 11:54, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
MCGuFFIN - It's sort of related to something in Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile. Since I haven't played it, is it spelt 'MCGuFFIN' or 'MCGuFIN'? I'm only asking this because an user changed the spelling, and I don't know what's the correct version. иιƒкч? 10:00, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Skidd's Race - You know Skidd McMarx? His agent is the same race as him right? Also Shady Salesman Billy may be the same race as him. We do not know the actual name of this race but we could make an article about it, add a conjecture template and wait until some clarification. For one, the aforementioned and Qwark's Bouncer and even the Reptilian Gadgetron vendor tradesman may be of the same race. Also, it seems like they are all based on Rilgar, after all Skidd's a hoverboarder and Qwark's Bouncer is also on Rilgar. We should do at least something about it, and maybe name them "Rilgarian" or something like that. I Hope this is discussed in the IRC meeting. TЙГЭPHO3Ь--Tigercorp HQPRODUCTS 11:08, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Multiplayer wiki - do we want a wiki specifically for the multiplayer aspects Ratchet & Clank series? Personally I think the content would fit on this wiki, but I'm not sure what Mobutu4 (his idea) has in mind. HunterjHunterj's Resort 10:50, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
User page policy - Ratchet & Clank wiki:User pages is a policy that has been/will be created by me. Do we need a percentage of allowed user page edits before their user page is blocked, like if they're user page edit count exceeds 40% and they've had over 100 edits should it then be protected for a while or should they be warned etc? HunterjHunterj's Resort 12:00, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Copying article content onto user pages - HiQu has an example of this, do we allow this? HunterjHunterj's Resort 12:07, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Another Lombax? - In :Video:Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time Teaser Trailer|this vid at 0:55 there is a person who seems to be a Lombax. This would completely fight against the info on the article Lombax. (Eye color etc.) I think this should at least be discussed. HiQuTalk to me! 20:06, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Add-one for the signature policy - I think we should add a rule which says that the signature of a user must clearly have the user's user name with a link to his/her user page on it. I'm not pointing to anyone but some users' signatures have strange names which aren't even their real user names. HiQuTalk to me! 20:47, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Forum - I think we should set up a specific forum for talking about A Crack in Time and where speculation can go that isn't sourced enough for articles. It'll stop the talk page from being clogged up and we can link users who add speculation to the article to it. HunterjHunterj's Resort 19:58, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
A Crack in Time articles - I think it's fine to make them as long as we have a strong idea on how to title them and that they'll be in the game, as long as everything's sourced and we use the conjecture template. HunterjHunterj's Resort 19:58, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Future sub-series - should we have an article on it? HunterjHunterj's Resort 19:58, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
FA/GA userboxes - something that Darthipedia has, it's a userbox given to users who have made significant contributions to an article in order to get it to featured or good status. This is a nice thing to have, and could increase the quality of articles we have. HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:21, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Enemies Category - this needs splitting up into smaller, specific categories. We need to discuss who, how and when this'll happen. HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Images - they need categorizing. We need to discuss who, how and when this'll happen. HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Categories - Categories also need categorizing so that we have a 'category tree'. We need to discuss who, how and when this'll happen as well... HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Is this image - [1] - from Quest for Booty? It's labelled as A Crack in Time, but I'm not convinced. HunterjHunterj's Resort 20:57, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Excessive pages - Can we remove pages that describe upgraded, Mega, Giga, Omega, Titan, and all others beside? It creates unnecessary clutter, and all the information could be much better summarized on one page, in my opinion. Mutated 23:36, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
User image policy - the number of images allowed to be uploaded. HunterjHunterj's Resort 18:56, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
User and user talk page policy - we may already have these but we need to stop people from putting massive (I mean massive) pictures of pigs on their talk pages, so big I can see the pixels from the image. We also may want to stop the sort of content that User:The Toilet Seat has on his user page. (Should be an animated image, if not then look in the page history) HunterjHunterj's Resort 18:56, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Categories (again) - do we need to add a section of the manual of style to categories? Recently IP's have been creating entire articles of existing content in relevant category namespaces that are red linked. HunterjHunterj's Resort 19:28, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Lombax (language) or Lombaxian? - This should be cleared. Mobutu4(R) My Talk--My Mood 23:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Should {{title}} be not allowed in user and talk pages - Some users figure out fake names that aren't their real user names using the template. HiQuTalk to me! 21:14, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Strikeout votes - We should move all of the striked out votes, in a nomination, to the bottom of the list, to avoid distortion in the list. For example, when using # to do the numbered list, if there is a crossed out vote, (which uses a bullet point), the list has to start again from underneath the crossed out vote. Also, if it's a crossed vote (which uses a bullet point), then the list still counts the crossed out vote. What I think we should do for that situation is, to change it to a bullet point and then move it down, to avoid it looking like it's a counted vote. Thanks TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 13:17, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Nefarious's height - If Ratchet is 5 feet, I think Nefarious looks like he is at least 10 feet, not 7 feet. HENRIKV4My talk page 14:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Manufacturer Infoboxes- We shoud have infoboxes for manufactures such as Megacorp and Gadgetron. In my opinion it should have the parameters: name, logo (image), galaxies it operates in, CEO, headquartes and appears in which games. I think it adds a little bit more neccessary info to the manufacturer companies' articles. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 11:57, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Character infobox - I think it should have more fields under the "biographical information". It now has only one field. Also the other sections should have more fields as well. HiQuTalk to me! 12:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Mentioned only - "Mentioned only" or "mentioned only"? HunterjHunterj's Resort 12:44, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Users using different users' IP's - Then we can't ban his IP because another user's IP will be banned. What should we do with them. HiQuTalk to me! 18:29, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Category: Miscellaneous - we shouldn't really have one of these. It needs splitting up into lots of different categories and deleting. HunterjHunterj's Resort 06:46, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
To do list - this might be a good way of getting some tasks completed. Many wikis use one, here's an example. HunterjHunterj's Resort 13:59, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Walkthrough lists - I mean the ones at Ratchet & Clank/Walkthrough. I was thinking we should expand them, have a brief summary of each level without spoilers. Have the current list where it is and then below have a sub heading (I mean the one with ===) for each planet with a short summary - this'll help people who don't know the names of the planets or if a planet appears more than once in a game it'll help as well. HunterjHunterj's Resort 18:06, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
The Ratchet and Clank duo - I was wondering if we could make an article about the relationship between Ratchet and Clank, and name it Ratchet and Clank, hence Ratchet & Clank is a game (note the "&"). If not this, then we could put a section on Ratchet's page called "Clank", and vice-versa, and describe how each acquaintance aid each other. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 09:47, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
If you want to talk about an agenda topic add a new section below with it's digit, however it is best to save things for the meeting if possible. If you are not going to be able to make the meeting, feel free to give your input and opinions here, but you cannot vote on any topics requiring a vote unless you attend.
I doubt we'll have a meeting by then, so I'll answer now. Anything that effects the quality of the articles in a negative way is vandalism, it's up to admins if they choose to be a bit lighter about it then usual due to the occasion. Anything on talk pages etc just needs to be watched really, make sure nothing gets out of hand. I don't think we'll get much/any April fools related things anyway. HunterjHunterj's Resort 18:26, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Heh, I haven't actually thought about that. I reckon it depends, for example if the guy is a vandal (and has proven theirself before) I wouldn't tolerate it. If they are a first-timer, then I'd say not to get too angry at them, but still warn them on their talk pages. I think we shouldn't still tolerate vanddalism, as it gives vandals an excuse to vandalize anyway for the day. Plus, we don't really have anything related to April fool's. иιƒкч? 06:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
If a users just made one April Fools' day related edit then I'd just revert it, I wouldn't even warn them I don't think. It's if someone makes multiple edits so I guess I agree with Nifky. HunterjHunterj's Resort 11:50, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
I don't think anyone is going to do something like that (reffering to a user), and anyway IPs aren't just going to vandalise because it's April Fools day, so I wouldn't see a point of allowing it. Just keep to the rules - nothing in the rules say "with expection for 1st April."TЙГЭPHO3Ь--Tigercorp HQPRODUCTS 16:47, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
I've seen some April Fools vandalism on SWGames but it's minor. The idea just popped up in my mind. HiQuTalk to me! 14:06, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Where did you see it and when? LethalReflex 17:45, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
If we are going to make articles, we would have to make assumptions based on their look, and 'create' a race for them, as it's not stated anyway. I think the best way to do this is scrutinize all of their pictures and then maybe make a trivia section on them (for now) about their appearance, if they do look similar according to an user who has did 'a spot the difference' thing. About the races, it's going to be conjecture, as your making a race up, so I unfortunately would not really create a race. иιƒкч? 08:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Ooh, yeah, another thing - 4 Skid like creatures always participated in the Hoverboard Race on Rilgar. However, on Kalebo III the hoverboarders were another species completely. My point is that; not only Skid like creatures were on the hoverboard races in Rilgar unlike it's counterpart Kalebo III; that another 4 "Rilgarians" can be added to my list of similar looking creatures based on Rilgar. YAY! (lol) TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 21:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
That seems unneccesary. Only three of the games have multi-player anyway, so all we need to do is add a few more articles about MP rather than make an own wiki! Wikis that are destined to have 20 articles aren't exactly "amazing". TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 22:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
That's not the point. The multiplayer wiki is also for the clans that are on, game types, and maps. I know you have a knack for disagreeing, Tigernose. Mobutu4(R) My Talk--My Mood 22:59, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Please keep your personal opinions of other users to yourself, or otherwise you may be considered of personal attacking another user. иιƒкч? 07:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry Nifky, yes... I am disappointed that Mobutu4 described me like that, but it doesn't matter. Anyway, back to the point. Sorry, I didn't realise you meant about the players and the clans. But still I don't think it's a good idea. It is not the sort of thing that gets put in a wiki; in my opinion I think it's more suited to a fan-site after a wiki, after all - wikis are supposed to be educational. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 21:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, no offence here, but I think some of Tigernose's bits in the last comment are correct. I reckon Mobutu4's wiki is suited to a gaming-blogging thing where you state what's up with new clans and what else. So I am saying it's informative the multiplayer aspects of the R&C games, but also a blogging thing at the same time. иιƒкч? 04:28, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't Blargipedia have a channel 64 news?Mobutu4(R) My Talk--My Mood 00:53, 31 March 2009 (UTC) P.S I never said that a multiplayer wiki would turn into an IGN daily blog.
No, I didn't really say daily. Blargipedia does, but it's hardly updated... иιƒкч? 11:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, exactly in the policy, we shouldn't overdo it. Plus, spam and advertising shouldn't be allowed on it. иιƒкч? 07:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I find it really annoying, when I used to edit on these pear-shaped wikis, I was trying to make them better as they had like 20 admins and only 300 articles, but people became admins due to their edits and automatically someone would be a sysop after a 1000 edits, and most of them would be user edits. I was the only person who had about 80% mainspace there. I have to admit it is annoying, so that's a good idea. Another brilliant aspect of your idea, Hunterj, is that it's limited by percentage not edits, which could be unfair for someone to have had 6000 mainspace edits and around 1000 user edits (and, let's say 700 was the limit). So, yeah, I totally agree. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 21:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Yes. Good ideas Tigernose. иιƒкч? 04:28, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
This would be good, but for people who have their own blog, or give you the latest on their games(glitches, skillpoints, etc.) would not be fair. Mobutu4(R) My Talk--My Mood 00:56, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, you can get your own free blog for those things, but you don't have to if you have contributed to the wiki a lot anyway. Also, I reckon warned then protected in terms of too much user namespace edits in ratio to the mainspace ones. иιƒкч? 11:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
It's kinda annoying. Believe me. HiQuTalk to me! 19:40, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
It's sort of quite annoying, and quite unnecessary. It's the equilvalent of saying "I like Clank" without the copy & pasting of all that article into the userpage. Seriously. иιƒкч? 04:30, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
I think it is fine. иιƒкч? 07:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Most of it is absolutely great thinking! Nice job, Tigernose! But I'm not so happy with the Gold bolt thing. I think we should discuss about that. HiQuTalk to me! 19:53, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
We can't know if he realy is a Lombax, it's a teaser trailer, I don't think we will know if he is a Lombax before A Crack in Time is released. Henrikv4My talk page 20:15, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
First when I looked at your post on the agenda, I was thinking "how the hell is he a Lombax?". I looked at the video and I saw the guy have fuzzy, long Ratchet ears. Good observation. Problem is, we'd never know it's a Lombax until CiT is released, but the fact it is a "teaser" trailer and that he actually had Lombax ears makes it very likely. Another thing though, Lombaxes were all banished. This guy is talking about time - reffering to Ratchet - but how was he supposed to know Ratchet if he was in another dimension. But that's fan speculation and anyway there is no point discussing if there is no concrete evidence so IMO we should drop this matter. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 21:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
No, we can't drop this matter if it's not discussed properly yet. :) He looks like an aged Lombax, in my opinion. иιƒкч? 04:28, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
We need to discuss it as we have/will have an article on that character. He also has a Lombax tail, you only see it for a second before he flies off. HunterjHunterj's Resort 08:38, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
I reckon that we could intergrate HiQu's idea, but maybe with the User's username in the signature linking to their user/talk page (either one, or both). After that link, they can create 2 or 3 more links related to linking to their username without having to type the user's username again so they can type some other random words. Possibly, but that will mean a sort-of long page (no offence). иιƒкч? 08:59, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure about this. I like having articles on each weapon upgrade and I think there is potentially enough information for each weapon upgrade's own article, however having longer articles could also be a good idea. It'll be interesting to see what happens from the meeting. HunterjHunterj's Resort 18:56, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
.Gif's are animated, and are the only ones that can be. Yeah, that's what I said about super, big, massive pictures to Hunterj. I reckon we should at least make one article mainspace edit to add pictures to our userpage, and put a point in the policy saying 'No super pixelated pictures that are over 3/4's of a page long'. иιƒкч? 11:28, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I reckon Lombax (language) for now. Lombaxian just sounds, a bit weird, not trying to offend here. It's like the word Chinese. The people are Chinese, as in Ratchet & Clank they're called Lombaxes, and their language is also Chinese, which might also mean mean Lombax for a language. I know this example is a bit off-topic, but I'm just showing what it might mean. иιƒкч? 06:34, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually, the language is called lombax. When Ratchet is puzzled by the symbols on the wall of the room on Rykan V, Talwyn says: can't read lombax either? The language is actually called Lombax. TIGERCORP(Headquarters|Products|Apartment) 19:13, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm going with 'mentioned only' as I think the 'm' doesn't need to be capitalized, as it's in brackets anyway. Things in the same sentence in brackets don't need to be capitalized unless they are proper nouns. иιƒкч? 07:21, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't know about this, Hunterj. 10.00am is a little early. I will try my best to make it (alarms and everything are on), but I don't know... it's too early: I'm not a morning person. I cannot and will not miss it as I have 7 items on the agenda, but I don't know, could you nudge the time some 30 minutes afterwards, or twenty minutes? Just a little alteration??? I understand we usually start 10 or 15 minutes after the designated time due to lag and lack of people, but still I'm unsure. I will still try my best. Oh and sorry I haven't been on in the past few weeks; haven't been able to go on the computer lately. Thanks,
