How to helpEdit

To sort out an image's license and/or source, contact the uploader on their talk page, if no reply is given or they don't know, try to find out the source/license or if necessary get an administrator (project leader, Hunterj is an administrator) to note it down as unsourced/licensed. Alternatively, if you are using a sub page to keep track of images you've sorted and who you've asked for information, you can note it in a section on that sub page and bring it to an administrator after you have completed the project.

After giving image names to an administrator please leave the Provide template on the uploader's talk page, so that other users do not try to find out the source through the uploader as well.

When you receive the information needed to source and/or license the image, go to the image and click edit, then paste the following and fill in the fields:
