Captain Sasha Phyronix, usually referred to as Captain Sasha, was the captain of the Starship Phoenix. Sasha was a member of Q-Force and the daughter of President Phyronix. After Dr. Nefarious's defeat, she became the Mayor of Metropolis.

Sasha was first seen over the communications screen in Ratchet's ship to tell him and Clank to head the Starship Phoenix to be briefed on their new missions. After guiding them on the Phoenix, they met on the bridge where Dr. Nefarious sent a message of his plans for the Solana Galaxy while Lawrence provided "sign-language".

Sasha Phyronix was the daughter of President Phyronix, the Galactic President. She therefore had a high political value. She later became Mayor of Metropolis, presumably due to her political position and work during the Tyhrranoid invasion.

Captain Sasha and her father were Cazares. Cazares were considered good politicians, reflecting on Sasha's career.

Sasha seemed to have an apparent crush on Ratchet, kissing him on several occasions (including the ending) and supplying him with his own personal quarters. Ratchet appeared to reciprocate her feelings, but not as actively considering that her father was the Galactic President and that he did not seem to approve of his daughter`s crush on "Secret Agent Clank's chauffeur".
At the beginning of Ratchet: Deadlocked, there was still hints of a relationship, but it was not expanded upon too greatly in the rest of the game. Ratchet also appeared to eye women other than Sasha, as clearly indicated during one of his conversations and even in the end of the game.
