Skill points were special or exceptional things that Ratchet could complete in the Ratchet & Clank series. They could be used to unlock secrets and bonuses. The way of completing skill points wasn't told in the games, apart from Ratchet: Deadlocked, until completing them. Skill points in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction seemed to have more practicallity than in the other games, as the screen was more clear and there was a broader variety of skill points.
