Slag's Fleet in the Ublik Passage was an inhospitable space station where the pirates docked their ships. Here, Ratchet fought Captain Slag's army of robot pirates, including Swabs and two Rogues. He also had to take part in a ship raid while on a pirate ship. Ratchet used the Gyro-Cycle to travel through a section of Slag's Fleet. Ratchet later defeated Slag and retrieved the Dimensionator only to have it taken again by Captain Qwark.

After defeating Captain Slag, his sidekick and first mate, Rusty Pete declared Ratchet the new Pirate Leader. However, in Quest for Booty, Rusty Pete is shown to be the new captain and, by the end, Slag is once again captain.
