For instance, in Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction he traded Ratchet bolts in exchange for Leviathan Souls. You would also give himholo-plansto make theRYNO IV. In Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, the Smuggler returned. He could be found in space.[1]the Smuggler tells you to meet him at Axiom City Spaceport to construct RYNO V from your Holo-Plans.

[edit] Biography
He once won a Blargian Roulette game against Captain Slag for the little red parrot he had (it almost costed him his one good eye). He also gave Ratchet the Gelanator, Gyro Cycle, Decrypter, and RYNO IV. He worked out a deal that if Ratchet and Clank got the gel plant running again, which was shut down by Tachyon, he would give them a ride off the planet Cobalia. When they got to Stratus City, he dumped them out of his ship to save himself from being vaporized by a detection system that detected Ratchet because he was a Lombax. Later in the game the duo encountered the Smuggler on the Apogee Space Station who gave them the launch code to the shuttle for Leviathan Souls. Later on Rykan V he gave them the Gyro Cycle for 5000 bolts. On Sargasso he gave them the Decrypter for more souls. As soon as they found all the holo plans in the game, they returned to the Smuggler on Sargasso and received the RYNO IV, the most powerful weapon in the game, which keeps the schematics.
Ratchet encountered the Smuggler on Merdegraw in Quest for Booty, who sold him a bolt crank component, took him to Darkwater Cove (for a fee, of course), returned Ratchet's missing Predator Launcher and Nano-Swarmers, and sold the Alpha Disruptor back to him.
[edit] Trivia
- In Tools of Destruction, the Smuggler mentioned his "one good eye". However, in certain cutscenes, he could be seen wearing his eyepatch on the opposite eye, suggesting he had sight in both.
