  • I believe it was thought that since his father lived on Fastoon until he was taken, Rathcet must be bought on Fastoon, this does need a source though really, or removal.
  • He can't have been born of Veldin if his father sent him there Found on post further down). Maybe he was born on Fastoon. If there is no proof for either then we say unknown not guess. Before I welcome and warn Mr. IP 147.something for fanon (maybe), can someone just confirm that Ratchet's age and Other appearances thing is correct/wrong in this diff shown here. I reckon they sound quite skeptical, and they replaced affiliation with age for some reason. I have reverted their edits, but still, I don't know about Kerwan in the Future series as their new home planet because I don't have the games for R&C fron Size Matters onwards. иιƒкч? 10:16, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

I am a huge R&C fan and I read this wiki a lot. I just recently found out that Ratchet isn't Ratchet's real name. If it wouldn't be a spoiler, can someone who has played Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction tell me what his real name is. --75.209.222.49 16:52, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

  • His real name is Ratchet according to all of the games and information available so far. Where did you hear this? Also, this page is for discussing improvements to the article content, please use the in-universe questions forum for these sorts of questions in the future, I do understand if you didn't know about it however!     • At the end of ToD atchyon states that only he knows Ratchet's name. His real name is never stated, but it is possible tachyon was lying. So as of now Ratchet. Clank 720My Sonic Sensors 21:51, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
  • Yes and Clank says that he detected no lie in his voice, so Ratchet isn't his real name, I doubt it will ever be revealed though Drophyd167b 15:50, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps in the next game, his real name would be mentioned, but I think it would ruin the series. I like the name Ratchet, not Gartonon Syphonix III or something like that.

I think the latter version is incorrect. The first one explains it more directly. Just remove "very arrogant" and replace it with just "arrogant", because Ratchet wasn't extremely arrogant. It was not because he wasn't used to Clank's weight, it happens in all games when his health is low (In the first to one Nanotech peice), and you played through and got more nanotech so this didn't happen to you, you weirdo. --Technobliterator 10:24, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

I think the picture for Ratchet in the infobox should really be changed. The article is called Ratchet, not Ratchet & Clank, so I don't think it should have Clank in the picture as well. I was thinking a picture from QFB or ACiT for two reasons:

  1. In those games, Ratchet and Clank aren't together.
  2. We have to stay as current as possible, that image is from ToD.

Also, we could have it like in Wikipedia, or other wikis, where the character isn't purposely posing, but it's a picture from a screenshot.

Why not use Ratchet's ACIT image for the infobox? That one has its background removed. Mateo22 Let's Talk!
