The banner for the wiki is outstretched and too big. Shouldn't we replace it or make it smaller? (If nobody wants to, I can make several alternatives.) --Kelt 21:58, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

The banner looks fine to me but I also have my screen set to 1024 by 768 pixels which might have something to do with it. If you feel up to making some news one's and then we can have a vote on which ones people like, that would be great. --Thai420^{Talk to me!} 01:49, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Well, I've uploaded the same banner in a smaller size with an outline, but I would LOVE to make a nicer, newer one for you. Or perhaps a few. I think that the picture for this wiki should be changed. The picture has neither Ratchet or Clank, only the name. This is the Ratchet & Clank Wiki. Has anyone considered doing a walthrough for one of the games? Or start some kind of forums? To get some ideas you can look here I don't mean to sound arrogant or stuck up but this wiki needs alot of work and I'd be glad to help:)

Ratchet and clank moon? Probably means Obani Draco or Gemini! Or that moon from R&C 2.....on the protopet planet.....with the bank full of robots? what the hell was it called?????there was another moon on R&C 2 that giant clank fought on......I cant remember which planet it belonged to! Who wants a protopet???? i eat skreeducks.Also, I could do a walkthrough for R&C 3? I only need 2 more skill points(I know what to do for them) and the skill master trophy.....so, I could do one. I want to piont something out. that the games arent "Ratchet and Clank" they are "Ratchet & Clank" so please if any articles use "Rachet and Clank" for the game name please fix the Alphaclaw11thank you in advance.

Hullo there! I'm Kirkburn, a Wikia Gaming Helper, and I've just reduced the protection of the Main Page to registered users only.

Wikia's protection policy advises that pages only be protected if they are the target of vandalism - otherwise full protection can cause more damage through neglect than vandalism would have otherwise done. Restricting it to registered users should really be enough. I hope this is not a problem! Kirkburn (talk) 18:10, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

You know what bugs me. I'm living in a PEGI area(Finland) and here PS2 Ratchets are rated 3+(which is quite stupid, I think ESRB has better rating). I LOOOVE Ratchet & Clank but it really bugs me when people seem to look me like a wuss. I don't care about it THAT much, but still! This is a talk page, right? Sorry, if I'm lost, but I just had to say this. To anyone who visits this page: PLAY THE GAMES BEFORE YOU JUDGE 'EM! They are not always THAT childish or raw that YOU think. Although, even if there are people that agree with me, there are also people who have different opinions. Still, whoever is reading this, play the games you want to play! Please post comments like this in the forum or on user talk pages not on article or main page talk pages, thanks. Thanks for you input however these articles are being removed as they are seen, if users could please contact admins telling them about the pages instead of just blanking them it would be appreciated. • What do you mean like Wikipedia. To be honest, it uses the elements of the type of main page placeholders when you first get a wiki now, but just a little different colours and sorting it would be good. • I agree with Hunterj, this type of stuff might be more better there as it's more community based opinion, not really like featured articles where an article is good is selected whilst this is more when the community says, 'yes, this game is good', rather more like showcasing users opinions of the game than actually the opinion of the game article itself. • Like the aspect of the Call of Duty wiki? I wouldn't mind what Hunterj said. I have no idea of what other changes I'd want; I'm sure that the community would want some as well. I think we do need a colour scheme on the main page, i.e. same coloured headings, like the wiki I linked to above. Though this means we're not actually copying them (many wikis have that anyway), I'm just outlining the wiki's main page as a type of example that we might have ideas from for a revamp of our wiki's main page. • As the game's already been released, the plot that follows the game is in past tense because it's 'in-universe', but say if you're talking about a voice actor in Ratchet & Clank, it will be in present tense because it isn't part of the plotline, and is considered a 'real-world' article because it is about a living person and the things they did are still current.
