The Thugs-4-Less leader was, as his name indicates, the leader of the Thugs-4-Less. The Thief first hired his team of men to prevent Ratchet from stealing the Protopet back from her. After failing to do so, the Thug leader broke this contract when Megacorp hired him to frame Ratchet for the attempted murder of Abercrombie Fizzwidget. The substantial amount of bolts he was offered allowed him to forget about this sudden "conflict of interests" between his two agreements. During this transfer of priorities, he also took hold of The Thief's Flying Lab and refitted it to become the Thugs-4-Less prison.
Ratchet first encountered the leader on planet Endako, where the latter attempted to kill the lombax in his helicopter. Failing in this attempt, the Thug tried again later in a large mechanical suit during the Megacorp Games qualification, but was once more defeated, by Giant Clank, who had been sent by The Mathematician. However, the Thugs-4-Less leader eventually kidnapped Angela and held her hostage in an enormous mechanized suit on planet Snivelak. Ratchet defeated him and saved Angela. He later appears, in Secret Agent Clank, in the same Prison Ratchet is being held at. He asks Ratchet if he remembers him and if knew what it felt like to hit the ground from 800 feet, referring to their fight on Endako.

- Thugs-4-Less Leader doesn't seem to be good with numbers, because he stated in one cutscene that Distribution facility on planet Smolg contains 10 million crates, each with 100 protopets inside, and that it would make 3,5 zillion protopets. However, the real number of protopets would be only 1 billion(or 1 milliard).
- There is a slight plot hole regarding his appearance in Secret Agent Clank. When he meets Ratchet he says "last time we met you was shooting down my helicopter", referring to their battle on Endako, however the last time they had met was on Snivelak and the leader had been in a giant mech.
