Toxic crabs were mutated crabs, possibly warped by the atmosphere on Orxon. Thanks to the pollution, they now had giant claws and a very strong shell. Toxic crabs were commonly found in packs using screamers as sentries to alert them for intruders. Hitting one at close range was a very bad idea as they screamed and immediately striked back.
