Undead pirate

Undead pirates were Space Pirates cursed by their captain, Captain Darkwater, and when they didn't join Captain Slag, then first mate, in the mutiny they were killed. When Captain Darkwater was resurrected in the form of an undead being, so were Darkwater's crew (because of the curse, which activated when Rusty Pete placed Slag's head (which had been removed by Ratchet) on Darkwater's body).
They were a lot like the regular Space Pirates, only that they were stronger, had more types, and had a strange, green, undead energy coming out of them.
