The unnamed blue humanoid species were a species that had blue-grey skin and spikes all over their body. They were found all over the Solana galaxy, in planets like Novalis, Batalia, Oltanis and Hoven. This makes it possible for the species to be called Novalians or Oltanians because the Novalis Chairman and the Plumber both lived on Novalis, the Commando and the Deserter were on Batalia because of the army, the Miner was on Hoven for work, and Sam is a native of Oltanis.

Edit
- The Smuggler may have been part of this species, however he lacked spikes and lived in the Polaris galaxy. He also sported an aquatic, scaly type of appearance and a cowlike face - not found in known members of this species.
- This species has also gathered the unofficial names of Novalian, Batalian and Solanian - thanks to the locations members can be found in.
- There is a possibility of the species to be Novalian, as the Novalian Chairman was this species. It is also possible they are related to the similar unnamed green species, which have the same spikes and similar body shape.
- The individuals that have been categorized as part of this species may in fact not really be just one species. It has been speculated that the Plumber and Novalis Chairman may be part of one species, and the Commando, Deserter and Sam, which appear to be bluer in color, actually comprise their own. This speculation goes even further in suggesting that the Smuggler is in fact not even closely related to the others listed, pointing out the differences in facial structure and the Smuggler's of adjunct arm spikes.
