Dear Jxtreme, A wiki contributer(probably the same person) keeps on deleting important information and replacing it with incorrect data. I think we should lock all the pages so only people with usernames can edit pages, that way we can find this guy and banned him from the wiki. Of course. I haven't been on the Wikia in the while, sorry. I've been waiting a while for this Wikia move to take place. Congrats on becoming an admin, bro. I've noticed you've been having some arguments on the Insomniac Games website about the Wikia being bad and all that. Just ignore them, some of the users can be ignorant at times there. I think the Wiki has been doing fine, much better than other Wiki's (The Jak and Daxter Wiki is going downhill). Do you have Skype? I have noticed the Ratchet and Clank Wikia hasn't been very active lately. The most active users would have to be you, Tigernoise, and now I'm back on board. I added on a new topic on the IRC Agenda. Now, I'd like to take into account that with All 4 One being only a few months away (I can't believe how fast that went. I remember it just being revealed), not many users have the comics yet (I don't know if you were ever able to get them), so I've been having my hands full with adding comic information and images. Recently, they have released a paperbag set with all the comics in one and it's rather cheap on Amazon. I'll also see if I can fit something into my schedule for a IRC Meeting. Sorry for the community message thing, it's just that it said your vacation ended when mine started. It's alright though, I've cleaned up all the edits while I was away, but it is a big pain in the ass the only admin. It's just a shame we haven't heard from Hunterj yet.

And yeah, I'm probably going to less active here now that school is starting. Oh well, let's hope for the best that we'll here from Hunterj soon. And also, you're right, we should move. Hello Jxtreme, the reason for the robot ninjas and other categories is because since we have categories for Henchbots and Casino Guards, I thought that we would need to have categories for every other holo-monocle scannable enemy in Secret Agent Clank.

Independent?Edit

I was wondering on whether or not we should go independent. I want an independent R&C Wiki, but I've had trouble getting the needed data. If you guys want no part in it, I will understand and insure that the new site will not have anything to do with this site.

Patrolling Edit

Hey Jxtreme! Unfortunately, I've been a bit busy and have missed about a week or two of patrolling on the wiki. Luckily, I had the time today to patrol up to 10th October 2011 to go through any edits, fix them or revert them (which was mostly the case :P).

I was wondering that if you have the time, are you able to go through all edits 10 October 2011 and before until you reach our last patrol? I fear they may be more hidden gems of vandalism or unnecessary edits, like the ones I found sifting through the last week of edits.

Keep an eye on any edits removing referencing to non-Ratchet & Clank fiction. A lot of in-game names are references to other games and media, but some editors have been unnecessarily removing all trace of references in nearly every article, it seems. There is also the usual badly written information or non-existent content to fix up :P

Our current situation is close to atrocious. Keeping up a wiki with such an immense size with only two active admins is impossible. This is why obviously I have been taking frequent breaks from patrolling... and I can understand why anybody else would. To add to this, we only have 2 or 3 non-admins who actually know how to write according to our MOS and actively so. This is really hurting our reputation, as more bullcrap is being added onto our wiki daily. People will always see this and start flagging the whole wiki as being false because of a few vandals or idiots.

I've been very grumpy lately, sorry, and this can be seen with my recent merciless streak of reverting all edits, but hopefully you can give me a helping hand, mate! :D

With only a few hours till All 4 One, I'm going to appeal to the IG forums' users to help us out a bit to make sure anybody who is looking for info about R&C sees accurate and well-written stuff. Also, are you able to pick up the Strategy Guide where you live? I'm fearing I may not be able to afford it unfortunately, but I'll see what I can do. I've heard that there is a lot of useful information in the guide as well as a new surprise weapon.

Glider name in Going commandoEditEdit

Hi im User Ryno4ever and i own all the Ratchet and clank Official strategy guides. recently Ive been having this argument over the proper name of an Item Ratchet gets In Going Commando. That item is the Glider or as The ratchet and clank going commando guide calls it the Momentum Glider. Now i know in-game when he recives the item it says You got the glider, however in the description it says The momentum Glider. the user malllo says its an adjective but i disagree. I disagree because in the Official Strategy Guide its called momentum glider and in game description shows that its called momentum glider also sure Momentum is not capitiliezed but that might be a spelling error. The game guide states time and time again that when ratchet uses the item it reads Momentum Glider. what is your opinion on this should it be changed to Momentum Glider or just remain The Glider.

State of this wikiEdit

I have begun a task to restore each and every page to accuracy within this wiki, to make a long story short. I would like first for you to know this (hence why you will likely see my name frequently in recent edits). Secondly, I wish to have a "project" created for my task, if you and/or other admins would be willing to create one and recruit others to help me out in this endeavor.

(Sorry for the straight-to-business perspective, but I want to get this message out quickly to each admin, since I will be posting this on each admin's talk page, so that I can get a reply from whoever is on the most.)
