The Wupash Nebula was a small, mostly featureless nebula that neighbored the Maktar Nebula, as well as a large star. Filled with asteroids, it can be a dangerous area to traverse for inexperienced pilots. A Thugs-4-Less fleet comprised of 30 ships ambushed Ratchet here while he was traveling to Maktar Resort, on orders from the Thief. However, he was able to defeat them, and he left the Wupash Nebula and never returned.
The nebula contained both rock asteroids and ice crystals. Some of the latter contained valuable Raritanium.
- It was interesting to note that the Wupash Nebula was one of the few sites featured in the Ratchet & Clank series that could not be revisited after the player had visited it once.
Behind the scenes
- The term "Wupash" in the Wupash Nebula's name came from the slang phrase "whoop-ass"/"whup-ass" or "whoop ass," which means to beat or stike; or "something dangerous."
Alright, just what the **** is going on?
